Current membership service
Public registration collects a verified email address, consent and security records. Members can choose a public username, avatar, biography and city/state. Seller applications, ID collection, listing publication and trading remain disabled until separately announced. The hosting service may keep ordinary access/security records, including IP address, requested page, user agent and time. A secure, essential session cookie protects forms and session state; registration does not create a marketing subscription.
Profile and future marketplace records
Optional avatars, biography and city/state are public if you choose to provide them. Private email, identification documents and addresses are not public profile fields. When additional marketplace features open, the service may collect submitted listings, bids and agreements, private transaction messages, support records and moderation decisions as described in this notice and the applicable feature terms.
Seller identification
ID collection is currently closed. The implemented review workflow stores uploaded ID images encrypted outside public website folders and allows access only through restricted review tools. The implemented workflow deletes the active ID image immediately after a final verification decision, with a 60-day pending-application expiry cap. Approval does not activate until that deletion succeeds. Application and verification decision records remain. Our database snapshots contain no image blobs; HostGator/provider backup scope and retention still need to be verified before ID collection opens. We will disclose the final operating policy before collecting IDs.
Sharing and service providers
HostGator provides hosting. If you email us, email systems process your message. When transactions open, relevant fulfillment information may be shared with the actual counterparty and authorized staff/service providers only for the stated service purpose. No payment-card or banking information is needed for this release. Do not send it through support or marketplace messages.
Retention and requests
Account, consent, profile, support, security and audit records are retained while needed to operate and protect the service. TankBids does not promise a fixed automatic deletion date for ordinary account records. Essential sessions end under server session settings; you can also clear cookies in your browser. Contact support@TankBids.com for privacy, correction, deletion or applicable rights requests; we may verify the request without collecting more information than needed. Specific records may need to remain for legitimate dispute, safety, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.
Children and advertising
The planned membership service is for adults. We do not invite children to register. No Google advertising or third-party analytics scripts are active. If those services are introduced, this notice and appropriate preference/consent controls will be updated before activation. U.S.-only selling does not mean all visitors are located in the U.S.
