Fish ratings
Eligible feedback is tied to a platform transaction and uses one to five fish. The displayed overall score is the arithmetic mean of eligible published reviews with its review count. A profile without reviews has no score. External payments are not verified by TankBids; feedback is labeled linked transaction rather than verified purchase.
Genuine experiences
Positive and negative feedback follow the same standards. A seller cannot prevent feedback simply by refusing to mark the order complete. The beta workflow allows a buyer review after a valid commitment has aged 24 hours, subject to eligibility and anti-abuse review. Self-reviews, fake experiences, manipulation and purchased positive ratings are prohibited.
Reports and appeals
A seller can reply or request admin review. Reporting alone does not hide the review or change the score. Disagreement or a low score is not grounds for removal. We can investigate ineligible/fake reviews, threats, private information, harassment or other policy violations. We do not rewrite reviews to change their meaning or sentiment. Decisions require a recorded reason and may be appealed through support.
Community standards
No hateful or abusive usernames, impersonation, harassment, threats, sexual content, doxxing, spam, malware, fraud or bid manipulation. Standards apply to names, avatars, profiles, listings, messages, feedback and ads. Automated checks are limited and may need human correction; contact support about a false positive.
Reputation is not for sale
Advertising and commercial status do not buy reputation scores or removal of genuine criticism. Material relationships must be disclosed when relevant. Reviews and moderation records will follow the marketplace retention terms published before trading opens.
