A safer transaction starts with a better checklist.

No badge or rating can eliminate marketplace risk. Use multiple signals, preserve records and slow down when a seller pressures you to bypass clear terms.

Check the listing and seller together

Compare account history, transaction-linked feedback, listing detail, photo declaration and response quality. A new seller is not automatically unsafe, and a long history is not a guarantee.

Protect direct payments

TankBids does not hold funds or provide purchase protection. Review the protections and restrictions of the payment method you and the seller choose. Never send passwords, full card numbers or banking credentials in marketplace messages.

Document shipping and arrival

Save the listing and terms. Track dispatch, photograph an unopened package when damage is visible, and follow the seller’s stated arrival-report deadline. Contact the carrier or payment provider directly when appropriate.

Report conduct accurately

Report impersonation, threats, prohibited species, manipulated bidding, stolen images and materially misleading listings. A report triggers review; it does not automatically remove content.

Does TankBids offer purchase protection?

No. TankBids provides listing, communication and reputation tools but no escrow, refund or purchase-protection program.

Can a review be removed because a seller dislikes it?

No. Genuine positive and negative feedback follow the same moderation standards. Sellers may request review for policy violations.
